Established in 1978, Alarme Sentinelle is a privately held full-service security company with a ULC listed and Five Diamond monitoring station providing customized solutions to customer in the greater Montreal region. With over 100 years of combined experience amongst our bilingual staff we are able to maintain high value service to our customers.
We are looking for a new detail-oriented member to join our team as Accounting Clerk. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Finance and you will be working closely with all departments.
- The following list is not exhaustive, other duties may be assigned by management_
**Responsibilies**
- Coordinate billing to customers from files and contracts received from sales, service and installation departments
- Deposit cheques to bank account using in-house cheque scanner
- Enter payments into accounting software to balance bank account
- Enter supplier invoices into accounting software to be paid
- Printing cheques/setting up EFT in bank to pay suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health, security, quality, and recycling policies
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years of relevant work experience an asset
- Oral and written fluency in French and English
- Diploma in administration, finance, or accounting an asset
- Knowledge of accounting practices and principles an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to work in a team
- Must handle all information with confidentiality and discretion
- French & English fluency required
Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
