**About this role**:
This role can be performed remotely with up to 50% travel to customer sites and our Kitchener-Waterloo Headquarters.

**How you will make a difference**:

- Lead and mentor a team of technical pre-sales specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure consistent excellence in client interactions.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Develop a deep understanding of Avidbots products, solutions, and industry trends to effectively communicate their technical benefits and value propositions to clients.
- Assist the team in translating complex technical concepts into compelling and easy-to-understand presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and objectives, and tailor technical solutions to address those needs effectively.
- Engage directly with potential clients in pre-sales discussions, presentations, and demonstrations, showcasing the technical advantages of our offerings.
- Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on client requirements and contribute to the evolution of our product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the pre-sales specialists to design and develop customized solutions that align with clients' specific challenges and goals.
- Assist the sales team in creating compelling proposals and technical documentation to effectively communicate our capabilities and value.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and conferences as a technical expert, addressing client queries and concerns.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure our technical pre-sales strategies remain innovative and relevant.

**Key requirements and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in technical pre-sales or a related role, with a strong track record of successful client engagement.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical specialists.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to designing tailored solutions for clients.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Avidbots products.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Willingness to travel as required to attend client meetings and conferences.
