**ABOUT OUR CLINIC**
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia, making up approximately 70% of all cases. Those over the age of 65 are at a higher risk to develop AD. It diminishes cognitive, verbal and physical abilities by destroying brain cells. This in turn affects our ability to think, to learn new things, and to remember. Many scientific experts are working to ameliorate our understanding of this devastating disease, thus searching to find more effective treatments.

Our company, Recherches Neuro-hippocampe (o/a The Memory Clinic) partners with pharmaceutical companies to conduct Phase I to III clinical trials for Alzheimer's Disease. Our unique contribution will revolutionize the fight against the disease. We provide care to patients, generate knowledge for the scientific community, continue to improve support, and access to clinical research.

The Memory Clinic’s sister company, GeneRxN Research (Generation Research), focuses on preclinical AD research. It is a rapidly growing biotech company dedicated to helping customers by providing fast and accurate genetic screening in AD clinical research. Generation Research is comprised of scientists, engineers, and physicians who have been studying AD at the clinical, pre-clinical, and molecular levels for over 20 years. Our goal is to create novel point of care (POC) devices along with standardized screening assays to improve the current diagnostic workflow of the disease.

**SUMMARY**
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)to ensure efficient and effective administration of the Memory Clinic.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinates, tracks, and organizes the activities and initiatives of the COO. Ensures that initiatives and activities are tracked, items are scheduled and brought forward for follow-up, and the COO is kept abreast of statuses
- Monitors, coordinates, and reports on deliverables, timelines, and action items related to high-level organizational initiatives, such as the strategic and annual operating plans
- Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents on behalf of COO
- Prepares meeting packages for the COO, ensuring that required background materials and information are provided, allowing time for review prior to the meeting
- Manages and maintains COO’s calendar including schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
- Prepares and submits expense reports and travel claims on behalf of the COO
- Conducts research, collects and analyses data to prepare reports and documents
- Records, transcribes and distributes minutes of meetings
- Files and retrieves documents and reference materials
- Arranges and coordinates meetings and events
- Reviews operating practices and implements improvements where necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION**S
- A Post
- Secondary Degree or Diploma in general office administration, business or medical secretarial work, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role
- Work experience in the health sector is an asset
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail abilities
- Bilingual in English and French
