Join us as the Executive Assistant, where you'll serve as the pivotal link between the organization and its key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and partnership. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working closely with the CEO, you will be instrumental in aligning stakeholder expectations with organizational strategies, thereby enhancing the overall impact and reputation of the organization.

Executive Assistant, Role Accountabilities- Strategic Communication and Facilitation: Manage the daily communication between the CEO and the Reid Family, Board of Directors, executive management, staff, franchise owners and key external stakeholders. Ensuring effective information flow to support decision-making and CEO's objectives.- Stakeholder Identification, Analysis, and Engagement: Execute engagement strategies that align with the CEO's goals, while building and maintains positive relationships through regular communication and feedback mechanisms.- Board of Director Committee & Task Force Management: Logistical management of all Board committees and Task Forces ensuring meetings are scheduled, materials are prepared, and issues are moving forward through clear, consistent and effective communication- Project Management: Oversee and lead special projects as designated by the Board of Directors, ensuring comprehensive project planning, execution, and delivery within agreed timelines.- Documentation, Record Keeping, and Reporting: Manages the preparation and distribution of critical documents such as meeting agendas, minutes, reports, stakeholder communications, and presentations. Maintain accurate records of meeting proceedings, decisions, and stakeholder feedback.- Meeting and Event Management: Manage the logistics and content planning for board meetings, stakeholder forums, and special events. This includes scheduling, venue arrangements, technology setup, catering, and ensuring alignment of these activities with strategic goals.

Executive Assistant, Key Qualifications- 3+ years experience in corporate/office environment with executive administrative experience.- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively to a range of audiences within and outside Giant Tiger.- Strong leadership qualities, with experience in managing or coordinating teams and projects in a way that promotes collaboration and achieves organizational goals.- Strategic and analytical thinking abilities, with a keen sense for integrating departmental-specific needs with overarching organizational strategies.- Experience in planning and managing meetings, forums, and special events, ensuring they are strategically aligned with divisional and corporate objectives.- Adaptability to change, with a proactive and problem-solving approach to new challenges and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.- A track record of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Assets- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field- Effective project management skills, with the capacity to juggle various priorities and ensure meticulous organization and attention to detail.- Bilingual (English/French) an asset- Experience providing strategic support to departmental leadership, including data collection, analysis, and the facilitation of decision-making processes that are informed by stakeholder feedback and strategic objectives.
