**POSITION TITLE**: Event cordinator

**REPORTS TO**: F&B Manager

- Assumes stewardship of assigned events from time sales turns definite to hand off to Manager of Food & Beverage, approximately 1 week prior to event execution
- Maintain a filing system
- Handle multiple projects
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Maintain the reputation of Infinity Convention Centre (ICC) by offering a very personalized style of service as per ICC’s standard operating procedures.
- Study requirements of all booked banquets and functions to familiarize and ascertain the possibility of selling additional facilities, to produce extra revenue.
- Ambassador of the company at trade shows and conventions to promote the company and build sales.
- Maintains and communicates event information calendar.
- Collaborate with ICC culinary, catering team and any outside vendors (as required) to ensure client's vision is communicated effectively.
- Be accessible and expect to work irregular hours, nights and weekends.
- Consistently represent the ICC (internally and externally) with a heightened degree of professionalism and acumen.

**PREREQUISITES**:
Warmth and graciousness with the ability to function in a busy environment. Create stellar guest experiences and flexible availability to work on nights and weekends.

**EXPERIENCE**:
Two years’ experience on similar role in upscale hotel/banquet with excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
