
Food/beverage Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Manage and coordinate all food and beverage services for events, including catering, banquets, and concessions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
2. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders and house staff.
- Develop staff schedules, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training to maintain high service standards.
- Foster a positive work environment and address any staffing issues or concerns.
3. Bar Menu Development:
- Design and update menus meeting client preferences and event requirements.
- Stay current with food and beverage trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the menu offerings.
4. Client Relations:
- Work closely with clients to understand their food and beverage needs and preferences for events.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure client satisfaction and successful event execution.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the food and beverage budget, including cost control and inventory management.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability to achieve financial targets.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
6. Event Coordination:
- Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless integration of food and beverage services into the overall event planning process.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of food and beverage stations and ensure all equipment is in working order.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, with a strong background in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in relevant software and point-of-sale systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Reports To: General Manager
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
