Reporting to the HR General Manager, the **Talent Acquisition Specialist** manages all aspects of recruitment and staffing for all positions across the New Westminster Mill.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for supporting the full recruitment cycle for all positions:
- Advertising medias - social media, radio, job-posting sites, etc.
- Manage Job Fairs
- Managing and conducting employment testing
- Interview processes
- Manage the Background check process and pre-employment/post-offer drug tests
- Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in recruitment, talent acquisition and HR
- Responsible for other projects and tasks as assigned
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor degree in a related field (Human Resources or Business) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a unionized manufacturing facility
- Experience with recruitment software/computer programs including Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably CareerBuilder
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Plan and organize your own work activities, manage work time efficiently, work independently
- Computer systems ability including Microsoft Office and other applicable software and databases

The starting range for this role is $67,000 to $84,000 or higher, depending on your experience.
