**What you will do**:
- Administer HR-related documents, including drafting documentation for employee changes/letters, processing resignations, filing, and other general office admin activities
- Assist the Head of HR with general admin support, reports and recruitment
- Assist with HRIS maintenance and administration, including data entry, running ad hoc reports, updating employee information/records and updating files, performing HRIS record / Dashboard audits, forms approvals, and other duties as required
- Support annual policy review process and updates
- Provide Benefits administration support and back up as needed
- Maintain confidential employee data and ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of HRIS database (HUMI)
- Help plan team events, off-sites, employee milestone celebrations and team engagement activities
- Help in the creation of our remote-working charter and remote work onboarding program

**Support and community involvement**:
Flex network is currently working within First Nations communities within Manitoba and Saskatchewan to open avenues of high-speed internet so people don’t have to leave home to work remotely or run online businesses. Currently we are also actively working with Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) as part of our growing support and involvement within the indigenous community.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- A strong passion for learning new things
- Strong verbal/Written communication skills
- The Ability to find alternate and efficient ways to complete tasks.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of general HR procedures and practices.
- Strong level of comfort working with an Employee Information System or similar software
