**Job Purpose**
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the day to day administration of Human Resources services. The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department by managing a variety of administrative functions. This role ensures HR activities align with company policies, objectives, and legal requirements. As a key point of contact for employees and managers, the coordinator provides timely support in areas such as recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assisting with day to day operations of the Human Resources department functions and duties.
- Maintaining and data entry of HR records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, tracking leave of absence, vacation, sick, address changes and personal time, discipline tracking etc.
- Daily time keeping and absenteeism tracking.
- Organizing, filing and maintaining personnel records physically and electronically.
- Identifying inefficiencies in HR processes and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Group insurance enrollments and collaborates with HR Manager to maintain employee benefits program.
- Preparing HR documents as needed.
- Handling all employee-related queries about HR policies, programs, procedures, etc.
- Assisting in resolving employee grievances.
- Supporting disciplinary meetings or investigations.
- Maintain all employee information boards and postings.
- Administering and creating reports or presenting on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates, overtime, exit interview analysis, WSIB, benefit entitlement, credential tracking, training data base etc.).
- Internal Job Postings
- Conducting initial orientation to newly hired employees.
- Prepares new hire packages and documentation sign offs.
- Assisting with WSIB Claims and internal investigations.
- Member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Nurture a positive working environment with employee recognition and reward programs.
- Maintaining HRIS software
- ensuring accurate and timely updating of employee data
- Optimizing the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and efficient data management, generating reports, and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitoring changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Lead by example.
**Qualifications**
- Must have 2-3 years of Human Resources administrative experience.
- Human Resources Degree/Diploma from a recognized University/College (CHRP or pursuing CHRP is an asset)

- Must be able to drive between facilities when needed with own transportation.
- Certified Health & Safety and First Aid Training an asset
- HRIS experience is an asset. (BambooHR is in use)

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
