The **Project Management Coordinator** **is a highly motivated team member who will organize, administer and execute on all project activities in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing, resulting in the flawless execution of new and existing programs for our clients.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work in conjunction with Project Managers to assist with the coordination of the launch of new product lines and/or brand extensions for existing customers
- Works closely with the VP of Sales on new projects and keeps them up to date on the status and key milestones
- Liaise directly with clients to define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Ensure clients’ needs are met as the project evolves through constant communication with internal departments and the client
- Works in conjunction with Creative and lab team to coordinate the production of samples for customer and sales team use
- Assist in preparing project proposals, timeframes and schedules (Gantt chart knowledge an asset)
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Prepares reports as needed to assist the Project management team
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
- Create informative, and professional presentations that the VP of Sales is proud to present
- Liaise with all departments to implement a complete and successful project
- New product development with R&D department
- Raw material coordination with Purchasing department
- Design work with Marketing department
- Manufacturing and shipping coordination with Production and Logistics departments
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related areas (preferred)
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator role is an asset
- Experience in manufacturing, specifically in the cosmetics/personal care industry is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Superior analytical, problem resolution and decision making skills
- Customer service and results orientated with a passion for success
- Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Ability to carry out tasks independently and with little supervision within a team environment
