**Export Sales Manager**

Tiger-Vac manufacturers specialized in industrial vacuum cleaner systems for controlled environments and hazardous locations. We have an opening for an Export Sales Manager to join our team in Laval.

The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and enhancing the sales in overseas markets (mainly Europe and Asia).

The Export sales Manager is expected to acquire technical knowledge of the company’s products. He/she will be responsible for demonstrating the products, explaining technical concepts to customers, and determining needs of customers. The principal tasks of the Export sales Manager will include:

- Research potential markets and potential clients
- Conduct sales visits.
- Attend tradeshows.
- Appoint agents and distributors.
- Negotiate sales contracts.
- Assist in the planning for the transport of the goods.

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar position.
- Willing to travel overseas 3 or 4 times per year (typically for one week at a time) to visit clients and attend tradeshows.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and to explain and demonstrate the technical features of the products to the customers. A background in mechanical or electrical engineering is an asset.
- Administrative background. Capable of managing sales orders, contracts, and export documents.
- Familiar with the Incoterms® 2020 rules.
- Able to troubleshoot to sort out any problems with the exports.
- Language requirements: the Export Sales Manager must be fluent in English.
- A proficiency in other languages (such as French, Italian and/or German) is an asset.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Laval, QC H7L 5W2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
