**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Project Planning and Coordination_
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining project objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and suppliers, to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Budget and Resource Management_
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Allocate and optimize resources effectively, ensuring teams have the necessary tools, materials, and support to execute project tasks.
- Technical Oversight_
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, ensuring alignment with aerospace engineering standards and best practices.
- Review technical documentation and specifications to guarantee compliance with project requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance_
- Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Coordinate with Engineering to obtain necessary certifications and approvals for aerospace projects.
- Stakeholder Communication_
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to promote collaboration and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
- Prepare detailed project reports for management review, summarizing project status, challenges, and achievements.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five-seven (5-7) years of direct work experience in project management is preferred.
- Project management certification and PMP certification.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders of a diverse background.
- Experience working in aerospace or training industry is preferred.
- Experience working on complex Government of Canada contacts is preferred.
- Demonstrated results-oriented approach to projects.
- Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, including technical, professional, and senior management.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Jama software.

**Security Responsibilities**:
Incumbent must be eligible for Government Personnel Security Clearance.
