**WSP **is currently seeking a **Smart Mobility - Consultant **for our Toronto office with vision and passion for enhancing communities where we live, work and play.

Reporting to National Smart Mobility Manager, the Consultant will be responsible for supporting the pursuit and delivery of Smart Mobility and ITS projects in Canada. The main focus will be on planning projects, such as conceptual design, concept of operations and feasibility studies for transportation projects that involve connected and automated vehicles, managed lanes, parking management, tolling, traveller information systems, traffic signal systems, transit management systems, advanced traffic management systems including integrated corridor management and border systems.

This Consultant will communicate regularly with internal team members, as well as clients and potential clients, to gather information, understand their concerns and issues and deliver projects as a trusted advisor. The position will support business development and the team in the preparation of a wide range of planning studies, feasibility studies, concept of operations, market scans, strategic plans, performance based specifications, program delivery, software requirement specifications, operations planning through multi-disciplinary assignments with a strong focus on public sector clients. Experience with emerging transportation trends including curbside management, mobility pricing and automated goods movement is an asset.

The ability to think and present complex information graphically is an asset as well having the skills in Visio, Illustrator or other tools to develop the concepts.
