**Key Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Maintains confidential digital filing system, manages form inventory, and provides clerical support to advisors (ex. preparing documents).
- Develop, service and manage the client relationships through continuous communication.
- Maintains customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Participate in and assist with ensuring that all investment-related transactions are accurately recorded in the investment administration database and settle in the market in a timely manner and in accordance with compliance.
- Assist in the daily investment administration operational activities and workflow
- Investigate and/or resolve trade settlement issues
- Handle/facilitate the resolution of escalations and issues by thoroughly investigating situations, identifying solutions and recommending appropriate course of actions; collaborates with other team members
- Process New Business Insurance
- Administer new business and communicate with advisors & clients to keep them informed of where they are at in the underwriting process
- General administration and other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum two (2) year undergraduate degree/ diploma in Business Administration or related field
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a fast-paced administrative support role. Experience in a financial services industry considered an asset.
- Advanced customer service skills, including interpersonal and problem-solving skills, conflict, stress management and resiliency.
- Advanced computer/ software skills including word processing, database management and spreadsheet software including MS Office Suites.
- Previous experience working with a variety of software programs and databases.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written including the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters in a professional manner.
- Superior organizational, time management, and a high degree of initiative in providing action and expediency.
- High attentional to detail.
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and information quickly.

**1 year contract with possibility of extension**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
