**About the Opportunity**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Technical Account Manager, **focused on traffic safety. The Technical Account Manager is responsible for having a deep understanding of prospective clients' technical requirements and facilitating seamless communications between the clients and technology teams. This role is ultimately responsible for executing strategic B2B and Strategic Selling activities, generating business through both new and existing customer channels.
- NOTE: This is a hybrid role where the incumbent will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. _We are scheduled to relocate from Richmond to the Waterfront area of Vancouver in April 2024._
**In this role, you will be expected to**:
- Be a catalyst for new licensing opportunities, conducting proactive demand generation with sales engagement software;
- Conduct web-based product demonstrations to generate new leads with both current customers and prospects;
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute strategic and tactical B2B and Strategic Selling activities;
- Provide and/or coordinate pre

- Develop a plan to achieve quarterly/annual sales objectives across multiple products;
- Meet objectives around pipeline generation, opportunity management, forecasting in CRM, customer retention, and account management to achieve annual quotas;
- Assist in managing projects from initial proposal through scoping to contractual agreement, including data collection, analysis, and results sharing;
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and meetings to promote Transoft’s products.
**About You**:
- You have a post-secondary education in a transportation discipline.
- You have at least 3-4 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, or transportation safety;
- You have exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation);
- You have strong active listening skills and are responsive to customers' needs;
- You have demonstrated experience in building strong customer relationships;
- You have a technical mindset and are an analytical thinker;
- You have experience with MS Office Suite and CRM systems;
- You thrive on challenge and exceeding your goals;
- You must be able and willing to travel within the USA and Canada.
