**Interested?**
The Analyst, Logistics works closely with Scheduling and Commercial Services and other internal groups to help support the analytics and reporting requirements of the department. The Analyst ensures data is managed to assist with the safe, efficient, and optimized movement of products.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Run reports on demurrage, detention, or in-transit rail.
- Runs monthly reports for tax purposes and government tracking purposes.
- Assists in all month end tasks including balancing and reconciliation of inventories to meet accounting deadlines.
- Maintains databases with rates, tariffs, and charges.
- Monitors storage locations and tracks optimization of rail assets.
- Assists Schedulers with monthly nominations.
- Reviews invoices for payment.
- Trains on rail and truck scheduling to understand the business and provide assistance and coverage for Logistics team.
- Assists with gathering and distribution of Bills of Lading.
- Assists with coordinating railcar maintenance and repairs.
- Contributes to P&L reporting models.
- Builds strong relationships through networking with industry customers and carriers to understand key business drivers and anticipate industry trends.
- Collaborates with all stakeholders in the supply chain to minimize or eliminate accessorial charges.
- Communicates and negotiates with various internal groups such as contracts, accounting, and finance and, as well as with external clients and service providers.
- Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

**What You'll Bring**
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Economics, Logistics or a related field preferred.
- Related experience in Crude oil industry would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrates a proficiency in MS Office systems.
- Familiarity with Right Angle would be considered an asset.
- Experience with GeoMetrix rail tracking software would be an asset.
- Proven ability to be proactive, self-motivated and take initiative.
- Demonstrates high analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exhibits strong communication skills and ability to win over truck carriers, producers, operations staff, and railways.
- Ability to adjust to changing and conflicting demands, responsibilities and issues.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits a process for improvement mindset.
