International Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Materials Development (ICSEMD) provides the avenue to address, present, and explore the advances in the field of engineering including Materials Science, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, mineral, and material processing, machine design, energy, chemical processes, computational materials and mechanical modeling, structural engineering, and fluid/thermal engineering. It avails the great opportunity to convene and discuss with renowned global experts from the Academia, Research and Development groups, Researchers, Industry Personnel, Corporate Executives, Entrepreneurs, Manufacturers, and Professional Engineers with expertise in the field of Advanced Materials, Mechanical, Structural, and Environmental Engineering.
- ICSEMD brings together leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars to give an overview of their recent research and experiences.
- ICSEMD provides an interdisciplinary platform for collaboration among renowned leaders from academia, industry, and reputable laboratories worldwide.

The 2021 and 2023 editions of the ICSEMD were successful, and we are now recruiting the following role for the 2025 edition.
- General Secretary

The 2025 edition of ICSEMD will be a hybrid conference (in-person and online), therefore the organizing committee will work on hybrid model; meetings will be conducted virtually, however, there might be a need for the organizing committee to attend the conference in-person.

**General Secretary**

The conference's General Secretary plays a key administrative and leadership role, ensuring smooth planning, organization, and execution of the event.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Conference Planning and Coordination**:

- Lead the planning process, working closely with the organizing committee to define objectives, set goals, and establish timelines.
- Coordinate the scheduling of sessions, workshops, keynote addresses, and special events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organizing committee, speakers, sponsors, and participants.
- Ensure clear and timely communication of conference details, updates, and logistics to all stakeholders.
- Oversee the registration process, ensuring participants receive the necessary materials and credentials.
- Handle the conference’s documentation, including meeting minutes, vendor agreements, and speakers contracts.
- Ensure compliance with any legal or regulatory requirements for the event.
- Collaborate with the finance team or treasurer to manage the conference budget, ensuring that all expenditures are within the allocated funds.
- Oversee the collection of registration fees, sponsorships, and other income streams.
- Prepare financial reports to present to the organizing committee and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the invitation, confirmation, and logístical arrangements for keynote speakers, panelists, and other contributors.
- Work with presenters to meet all technical needs, such as audio-visual equipment.
- Organize and supervise venue arrangements, including seating, catering, technical setups, and safety protocols.
- Ensure that accommodations and travel arrangements for speakers and special guests are properly managed.
- Collaborate with the media or public relations team to increase the conference's visibility and attract attendees.
- During the conference, ensure the smooth execution of sessions, workshops, and events.
- Troubleshoot any logístical issues, such as technical difficulties, and coordinate the flow of the event.
- Address any attendee concerns or last-minute changes promptly.
- Ensure that feedback from participants, speakers, and sponsors is collected and evaluated to improve future conferences.
- Prepare a final report summarizing the outcomes, attendance, financial performance, and other key metrics.
- Manage any post-conference follow-up, including sending thank-you notes, distributing materials, and publishing conference proceedings.
