As a Labelling Coordinator at Carmel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet all regulatory labelling requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, review, and management of product labels, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable regulations. As Operational Support coordinator you will be responsible for various documentation organization and review. This role requires attention to detail, excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook at user level, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, because of cannabis/plant material exposure.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Design, inspect, and print all labels and barcodes for all processes and product packages at Carmel.
- To review and ensure finished product Labels comply with Health Canada regulations.
- Create and store all label templates in a controlled and structured manner.
- Review information provided by quality and coordinate printing or order of proofs.
- Develop tools to manage creation and design of new labels.
- Complete all required forms and logs during order, printing, receipt, and use of labels.
- Assist in labels/labelled or overprinted pouches reconciliations post packaging processes.
- Create and standardize a system to accurately store, issue and return all labels for production, inventory & quality.
- Communicate and train team members on standard operating procedures, while ensuring productivity and efficiency on the floor.
- Work with all departments to identify label printing requirements and implement a system to support all label printing requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments, including cultivation, production, marketing, inventory, and quality.
- Receive and maintain all label inventory and request to order more labels as needed.
- Follow Carmel’s SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
- Escalate any issues during shift and assist in their resolution to their direct supervisors/managers.
- Complete other production, warehouse and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Support inventory team by verifications of controlled documents.
- Assist in various administrative and organizational tasks to general operations at Carmel.
- Participate in standard operating procedures modifications when regulations change.
- Assist in deviation investigations and CAPA implementation, if needed.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends when required.

**Key Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills; extremely detail oriented.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency is Microsoft Suite.
- Analytical and data driven; possess an in depth understanding of Excel and strong aptitude towards learning new technical systems and software.
- Bartender software experience considered an asset.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, follows instructions and asks questions when unsure.
- Acts as a mentor to peers and cross functional partners.
- Is reliable, follows through on commitments, adheres to deadlines.
- Uses good judgement when acting independently or escalate an issue.
- Exemplifies teamwork, passion while holding others accountable.
- Willingness to work in a confined space.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to sit or stand for sustained periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
