**The Township’s Fire & Emergency Services (OMFES) Department is currently seeking an experienced professional, with the knowledge, skills and abilities to fill the full-time role of Deputy Fire Chief - Operations.**

Reporting to the Director, Fire and Emergency Services/Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief - Operations is responsible for the development and review of Operating Procedures/Guidelines, training, equipment maintenance, procurement, planning and shall oversee and direct the day-to-day management of Volunteer Firefighters and fire stations within OMFES.

The applicant must have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Public or Business Administration, Management Studies or Fire Protection and Technology, or equivalent combined with seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience, of which, three (3) to five (5) years of experience must be as a senior officer in a progressive fire department.
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I and Level II
- Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations
- NFPA 1021 Fire Officer Level III
- NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor Level I
- NFPA 1033 Fire Investigator
- Community Emergency Management Coordinator
- IMS 100 and 200

**This Management position offers a salary commensurate with experience and education (2024 Salary range $105,094 to $127,743), plus a competitive and attractive benefit package.**
