**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, the Load Planner is dedicated to planning and organizing the workload of our drivers. This role will work hand in hand with the Dispatcher, who is responsible for communicating the load plans to the drivers and customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for daily scheduling of resources to meet customer requirements.
- Focusing on maximizing payload, revenue miles and profitability.
- Be the primary point of contact for the day-to-day customer ordering and scheduling.
- Communicate with the dispatcher in an efficient and timely manner.

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**
- Decision making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, both written and oral.
- Project management abilities.
- Superior database knowledge and analytical skills.
- Intermediate computer skills are a must.
- Knowledge of TMW will be considered a definite asset.
- Previous bulk trucking experience is considered an asset.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- High school diploma is required.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree considered an asset.
