**About Our Opportunity**:
The Administrative Assistant provides senior level assistance and is responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the Divisions of Registries and Business and Consumer Services. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Executive Directors of Registries and Business and Consumer Services, including establishment, coordination, and maintenance of procedures to manage the flow of information through the office of the Executive Director’s, tracking special projects and work plans, and compilation of correspondence and confidential reports.
**Primary Accountabilities**:
- Relieves the Executive Director’s of administrative and business details on a wide variety of matters
- Effectively manages the Executive Director's schedule.
- Ensures the timely, consistent, and effective delivery of information
- Keeps in close contact with all management staff that report to the Executive Director’s
- Contributes to the effective management of the Divisions
- Maintains effective financial controls of the Divisions
- Keeps events, business planning, and accountability process on schedule
**Qualifications and Experience**:
As our next Administrative Assistant, you have successfully completed a one year administrative/secretarial diploma and have a number of years of progressively more responsible administrative/secretarial experience.
You are experienced in ensuring confidentiality in all your work as well as establishing and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders and other levels of government. You have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and are familiar with STAR/STOR. Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, and/or Flextrack systems would be considered assets.
In addition, you will have:

- Effective problem-solving skills
- A high level of professionalism
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.
