Estimating & Sales (Commercial Roofing)

This estimating & sales role will have a stronger focus on the estimating aspect within Service operations. The position will work out of Cambridge branch, reporting to the Service Manager.

**A Day in the Life**:
Help grow and build our Roofing Service business
Meet and provide estimates by the request of clients
Work with National team to build local presence and assist on local relationships with national clients
Communication with existing customers and explain Flynn Service opportunities
Regular follow-up on quotes and tenders
Attend association, industry, and networking events
Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client
Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels

**What we are Seeking**:
Must have 3+ years of roofing knowledge or experience
Must have construction estimating experience
Sales experience is an asset
Strong communication, organizational skills and excellent time management
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business
Experienced in using computer programs specific to this role (MS Office and Bluebeam/AutoCad)
Clear understanding of contract documents
**Technical Skills and Responsibilities**:
Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs in a timely manner
Complete work orders, take-offs and estimates in a concise and timely manner
Ability to conduct presentations virtually
Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives
