**Part time to full time seasonal employment as a merchandiser in busy Garden Centre**
Sales merchandisers will provide excellent merchandising service while working efficiently and effectively. This includes but not limited to maintaining our products and ensuring display areas represent a clean, fresh, creative, professional and well maintained appearance at all times. Merchandising our products in accordance with plan-o-grams, using established best practices for creating inviting and highly saleable displays of our greenhouse products.
**Key responsibilities**:
Unloading plants from shipping racks onto benches and pallets, Pushing/pulling shipping racks through Garden Centre, create engaging displays, ensuring retail prices are clearly marked, clearing/condensing/moving products each week to make room for new shipments, culling/cleaning/deadheading plants to ensure they are always attractive and saleable.
**Specific requirements**:
Must wear steel toe shoes/boots, must be able to work outside in all elements, must be able to work independantly and as a team, must observe and adhere to all safety protocols.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Merchandising: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: One location
Expected start date: 2023-03-13
