Alberta Innovates is seeking a Project Manager to provide overall administrative direction, planning, development and implementation of the organization’s capital, facility and potentially operational projects.

Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office, the Project Managerwill act as a resource on technical inquiries, assist with the identification and resolution of base building and technical issues, and keep projects on time and budget. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a related field, (Interior Design, Engineering, Architecture/Environmental Studies).
A commensurate amount of work experience and educational credentials will be considered for the role.
5 years experience in capital project planning, development and management.
Project Management experience delivering projects across a diverse range of budgets, from $100,000 to $4 million CAD.
Experience in a research & development (R&D) environment is considered an asset
Working experience with AutoCAD is considered an asset
Familiar with R&D facility design, operations and management.
Formal training/experience in project coordination/management.
Strong inter-personal and communication, and negotiation skills
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
Ability to manage project team and budget
Excellent planning and organizational skills Leadership, team work, and collaboration skills Strategic thinking and plan development
Adaptable and results oriented Organization and prioritization skills Problem solving, trouble shooting and decision making skills
