The Logistics Coordinator (Flat deck) is accountable for the daily and ongoing function of flat deck brokerage operations between Bison Transport and Searcy Transport. Key responsibilities include delivering results in operational functions such as freight brokerage, tracing, carrier development, and communication with carriers to ensure all service deliverables are being met.

Specific responsibilities include:

- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the execution and growth of Deck brokerage volumes. This will include a hands-on approach to carrier development and load brokerage to perform service and margin results.
- Key areas are day to day freight and carrier availability, timeliness and accuracy of communication with customers and carriers, troubleshooting and balance management, as well as tracking progress to established volume, margin, CPT and LOS targets.
- The Logistics Coordinator must ensure the service, volume and margin performance of carriers hired by Flat deck Logistics is at standards agreed to.
- The Logistics Coordinator must be the hub of information regarding this performance, and proactively address issues to stabilize the service that Flat deck Logistics provides.
- The Logistics Coordinators focus is on the identification and resolution of all non-routine or time sensitive issues that arise. Must display sound judgment and involve other parties in the resolution process if necessary.
- Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience are an asset
