**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics activities, including inventory control, transportation, and order fulfillment. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality.

**Responsibilities**:
**Order Fulfillment and Shipment**:

- Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to prepare orders for shipment.
- Arrange transportation and schedule pickups with carriers and logistics service providers.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork as required.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly shipping goals in accordance with strategic plan, developed by the Vice President of Sales.

**Transportation and Freight Management**:

- Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Setup claims for all freight damage cases.
- Update cases, and RMAs with required information and setup product pickups.
- Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service level agreements to optimize transportation costs.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to minimize delays and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customs requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and select transportation partners based on performance and cost-effectiveness.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze logistics data, such as transportation costs, transit times, and order accuracy.
- Review sales orders for accuracy before creating shipments.
- Prepare regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
- Identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and efficiency improvements.

**Continuous Improvement and Compliance**:

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor and enforce safety and security procedures within the logistics operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
- Experience in shipping and booking loads with LTL and full truckload carriers.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation modes, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software, warehouse management systems, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
