**General Description**:
Leads the assigned location to achieve comparative sales through consistent operational excellence, discipline and a committed team that executes flawlessly. Supports the District Manager by communicating corporate direction to the assigned store using the "one vision, one voice, one message" strategy. The Store Manager's role is to fulfill and execute the company's mission statement on a daily basis. Is obsessed with our product, people and customers.
**Tasks and responsabilities**:
- Sales_
- Meet or exceed assigned sales plans and target metric objectives in the assigned store;
- Maintains commitment to the company's sales processes, values and code of ethics
- Stimulates sales and monitors each MOD (Manager-on-Duty) segment and ensures that poor performance issues are addressed.
- Monitors interactions between employees and customers and provides constructive feedback on how employees can improve service and increase sales.
- Responsible for generating customer traffic by participating in approved local events and/or marketing opportunities.

- Ensures consistent execution of the company's marketing and visual presentation
- Proactively identifies various market opportunities and makes recommendations to the district manager for localized product, visual and marketing strategies
- Ensures that the store's visual standards are met at all times by ensuring an appropriate mix and depth of key SKU's and identifying store needs by using and analyzing supplier sales reports and/or modifying store layout (displays) and making recommendations to the District Manager.
- Ability to create enthusiasm and show passion for the product by communicating relevant fitness, fashion and product information to customers.

- Demonstrates the ability to develop a culture of recognition, responsibility, discipline and urgency.
- Trains staff on how to maximize sales potential through continuous development of product knowledge, customer service standards and visual presentation.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective succession plan for the store.
- Ensures adequate staffing at all times by organizing staff appropriately based on business trends and making the necessary seasonal adjustments within the salary target/budget. Maintains adequate staffing levels for store volume.
- Sets specific performance standards and ensures that employees contribute to the company's objectives.
- Mentors and develops key players so that they are ready for career progression.
- Operations_
- Responsible for the overall expense management and profitability of the assigned location, including but not limited to payroll, expenses and supplies.
- Demonstrates the ability to track and ensure that all of the company's customer service standards are consistently applied.
- Maintain appropriate inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions and mass counts.
- Ensures price integrity and overall product pricing and reflects current markdowns and margins in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensures that merchandise is archived, properly stored on shelves and posted within 24 hours of receipt in accordance with operational standards.
- Ensures that the store is well maintained, including dusting, mopping, windows and storage according to company housekeeping guidelines.
- Maintains a daily record of in-store sales, planning, damage, errors, deposit log, employee discounts, documents related to daily operations.
- Effectively implement areas of responsibility to improve management team ownership, development, execution and accountability.
- Completes daily planning and ensures discussions regarding performance and overall productivity.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.50-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
