As General Manager at Acura of Moncton, you'll lead a well-established dealership with strong ties to the local community, while being part of Atlantic Canada’s largest automotive group, Steele Auto Group. This role involves comprehensive oversight of dealership operations, driving growth and efficiency across sales, finance, service, and parts. Reporting to Steele Auto Group's Head Office, you'll work on-site, empowering the dealership team, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This position calls for a visionary leader capable of motivating teams and achieving strategic objectives that contribute to Acura of Moncton’s success.

Compensation: Commensurate with knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the overall performance of the dealership, including sales, finance, service, and parts departments.
  • Collaborating with department managers to set and achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing department managers and staff to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Ensuring that the dealership delivers a superior customer experience and maintains excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Monitoring financial performance, optimizing cost efficiencies, and ensuring profitability across the dealership.
  • Managing activities directly related to the supply of vehicles.
  • Managing activities directly related to the sales and marketing of goods and services.
  • Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Representing Head Office and actioning Steele Auto Group's strategic initiatives.
  • With support of the HR team, being the onsite representative for employee relations matters.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of dealership management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple departments.
  • A solid understanding of dealership financials, sales, and service operations.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience (Not Required but Beneficial):

  • Experience in managing multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of automotive retail and wholesale financing.
  • Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) and other relevant technologies.
