Opportunity

In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Corporate Planning and collaborating with various business areas to develop and maintain a balanced scorecard framework for the organization. You will also lead various aspects of the corporate planning process to formulate the Annual Integrated Corporate Plan, inclusive of budgets. Furthermore, you will monitor vital business initiatives and report on the organization's progress concerning key performance indicators to assess the accomplishment of the corporate strategy.

Responsibilities Include:

- Enable AIMCo’s Operating Committee by preparing meeting content and reports to enable decision-making and approval on elements of AIMCo’s corporate plan.
- Collaborate with the business including senior leaders to develop and maintain a comprehensive balanced scorecard framework that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
- Facilitate the annual integrated corporate planning process, working closely with various stakeholders to develop corporate initiative budgets, risk assessments, key initiative overviews and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support developing and maintaining the organization’s annual and 5-year corporate plan through the sequencing and scheduling of corporate initiatives and projects, and integrating strategic staffing, business technology, and divisional operations into an integrated corporate plan.
- Provide guidance to business units in developing and executing their divisional work plans (OKR Methodology), ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.
- Develop materials and reports to effectively communicate progress against corporate and divisional objectives and trends to the organization.
- Assist in developing corporate planning materials for the organization, Boards, Clients, and various stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide recommendations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness in the accomplishment of the corporate strategy.
- Develop and implement performance measurement tools and dashboards to track progress towards strategic goals.
- Work closely with the Strategy and Innovation, Enterprise Project Management Office, and Corporate Finance teams in the delivery of the organization’s corporate plan.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to business planning and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. CPA, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance short-term and long-term goals.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and coach teams to align the organization to AIMCo’s long and short-term objectives.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in business planning, performance management, and budgeting.
- Analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret data, trends and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using business intelligence tools and software for performance measurement and reporting.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations related to business planning and performance management.
