Markham, Canada Hospitality Hub Full time

Responds to inquiries in person, phone or on Live Chat.
- Performs straightforward typing/data entry, such as; forms, correspondence. Enters/updates information on the computer.
- Receives payments in cash, or using a credit card terminal
- Performs duties, such as; booking appointments, photocopies/faxes, sets-up/maintains filing systems.
- Operates/maintains office equipment or coordinates maintenance.
- Upsell services where possible
- Oversee the front desk, retail and juice bar areas of the spa ensuring superior service and value for all guests.
- Provide prompt and professional service to customers.
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival.
- Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of shift.
- Follow and enforce all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing standards, manuals, policies and procedures and communicate the same to reception colleagues.
- Assist in training new reception colleagues on all aspects of reception duties including promotions, changes, product and updates to operation when required.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with colleagues and other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What we need from you
At least one year experience in a customer service related field. Cash handling experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. This job requires ability to perform the following:

- Handling cash, Using a cash register
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients and guests.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often.
- Basic math skills are used frequently.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
