Omnitrans is currently searching for a Business Development Specialist to join our Courier Services team in Montreal.
In this role you are responsible to support the business development needs of the Courier division in conjunction with the sales team to promote of our unique value proposition.
Your day-to-day:
- Communicates daily with the Sales team to drive activity and assisting in the closing of new accounts.
- Gathers new business shipping information, analyses data, and assists in developing attraction strategies.
- Liaises with internal sales administration to share feedback and initiate campaigns.
- Communicates on a regular basis with existing clients while ensuring Omnitrans service excellence standards are being met.
- Escalates pertinent information to management.
- Generates and analyzes activity reports needed for strategic decisions.
- Provides operational support to Courier functions as required.
- Participates in the day-to-day operations of the Courier division across a variety of dynamic functions, as required.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of business experience.
- Strong analytical skills, organized and detail oriented.
- Exemplary work-ethic, not afraid to go the extra mile.
- Maintains a high standard for service excellence and is customer focused.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to be part of a winning team.
- Proficient in MS Office and excel.
- Bilingual in French and English
