Your missions?

Under the direction of the Quality and Health Director, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the personnel in his department and for all quality-related activities.

The incumbent must respect the established budget and approve expenditures related to the Quality department, they must also offer technical support at the production level and manage their work team. They are also responsible for liaising with other departments, such as quality control and research and development.

Your responsabilities ?

**Quality Assurance Department Management**
- Establish departmental objectives and evaluate employee performance
- Establish and maintain up-to-date department budgets
- Recruit, manage, develop and motivate Quality Assurance employees

**Food Safety & Quality System Management**
- Responsible for: document management, risk analysis, control planning, supplier qualification, change management and recalls;
- Ensure system compliance with regulatory standards, certification, customer and internal requirements

**Relationship between plant departments**
- Provide support and work closely with all departments to ensure system compliance
- Oversee decision-making related to the manufacture of safe and quality products.

**Clients**
- Being the client's contact concerning quality
- Manage the client's requests

**Audits and certifications**

Plan external audits required to maintain SQF, AIB, GFCO and other certifications as required;
- Manage all external audits (clients, 3rd party, government)
- Follow up on corrective action requests and non-conformities noted during external audits
- Following requests from clients, take steps with new certification bodies to assess the costs, requirements and needs relating to the implementation of new standards

Who are we looking for?

In addition to being brilliant, friendly and passionate, our Quality Assurance Manager should have the following profile:
Academic Background:
University degree in food science and technology or DEC in dietetics or food technology or equivalent

**Experience**:
Have 5 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in the food sector

Experience supervising personnel

Special skills:
Have current knowledge and experience on HACCP quality system management
