- General Summary:

- Support the execution and planning of logistics solutions. It is a question of reviewing and sorting out the
- communications, collaborate with internal stakeholders, support first-pass tasks such as
- reviewing documents and updating shipping records, as well as responding to requests for
- service from other offices in the World Courier network.
- Profile of a logistics specialist
- Level I logistics specialists must be able to perform the basic tasks related to the provision of
- high-end courier services and have the ability to work in an environment characterized by
- strong pressure. The logistics specialist must demonstrate a sense of urgency and determination to
- help in critical situations. He/she must be comfortable with the details of logistics and must be flexible to
- work on different shifts, including day, evening, night and weekends. Specialists
- in logistics must be customer-oriented, have a spirit of service, solve problems and have a good
- team spirit. They focus on mastering their tasks and learning all the basic elements of
- our service and business with the objective of taking on additional responsibilities towards a position of
- specialist in level II logistics or other positions.

- Main duties and responsibilities
- Ø Sorting tasks with Logistics Specialist II and Logistics Specialist III.
- Ø Liaise with airlines, agents and, occasionally, other relevant parties.
- Ø Provide support to colleagues and internal clients.
- Ø Execute the planned logistics solution.
- Ø Create basic transport commands.
- Ø Track orders and work with colleagues to speed up and resolve issues.
- Ø Use World Courier facilities and tools to comply with requirements.
- Ø Notify the offices of destination for consignments with special requirements.
- Ø Enter clear and precise instructions in the order file.
- Ø Everyone is responsible for monitoring the work live, even if it is not your order.
- Ø Take care of basic tasks like package preparation, document management, input
- data, etc.
- Ø Being flexible in the working schedule, World Courier is a company that works
- 24 hours a day and will therefore require overtime as well as working on public holidays and
- weekend shifts, as required

- travailler en différents quarts de travail, notamment le jour, le soir, la nuit et les fins de semaine. Les spécialistes
- en logistique doivent être axés sur le client, avoir un esprit de service, résoudre les problèmes et avoir un bon
- esprit d’équipe. Ils se concentrent sur la maîtrise de leurs tâches et l’apprentissage de tous les éléments de base de
- notre service et de nos affaires avec l’objectif d’assumer des responsabilités supplémentaires vers un poste de
- spécialiste en logistique de niveau II ou d’autres postes.
