The Warranty Specialist will be part of the Customer Service team and reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, this position is located at our Montreal Campus. Main responsibilities for this position will be to provide timely customer support with warranty inquiries & motor spare part quotations. The role requires critical thinking and decision making skills to handle multiple interactions in a fast paced environment while providing our customers with a superior experience.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Coordinate Drives warranty claims from our OEM customers and channel partners.
- Prepare technical/commercial proposals for Large AC motor spare parts, based on customer specification requirements.
- Enters customer orders using SAP ERP system for spare parts and products.
- Work closely with product management team to troubleshoot customer issues.
- Determine if equipment is still under warranty and recommend appropriate solution.
- Procure parts or products from ABB factories using SalesForce or Business Online.
- Coordinate field service technician to repair the equipment.
- Monitor costs and backcharge factories when possible.
- Proactively inform the customer of the claim status.
- Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Maintain tracking system of all warranty claims and set KPIs.
- Have a strong understanding of all aspects of the Customer Service department, including quotation process, order handling, logistics, and order follow-up with the customers.

**Your background**:

- Mechanical College Degree with relevant 3-5 years of experience with motors and/or drives (preferred).
- Bilingualism, written and spoken (French and English).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Must be teamwork oriented, be ready to take initiatives, able to problem solve, information seeking and eager to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- SAP knowledge and Logistics are considered an asset.
