**Job Summary**:
Reporting to our service manager, the Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor is an integral part of the Service Department Team and in after-sale customer satisfaction.

**The job**:

- Writing customer pay, warranty and internal work orders.
- Working with our team of advisors and appointment coordinators to ensure all appointments and work orders have all the correct, needed information to make sure our customers and internal vehicles are fixed right the first time, and all required maintenance is recommended.
- Working with fixed operations manager on daily management tasks.
- Ability to train, coach, direct and encourage technicians, advisors, and shop foreman.
- Working with sales managers on used vehicle inspections, needed repairs and maintenance.
- Auditing Repair Orders for required policies and procedures as per General Motors warranty guidelines.

**Salary**: $50k - $85k/year

**The requirements**:

- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Clear, concise and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to thrive in stressful and time-sensitive situations.
- Must have a valid Class 5,6 Driver’s License upon employment.
- Driver's license in good standing and clean driver's abstract required.
- The drive, determination and motivation to succeed every day.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the automotive industry.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a service advisor role is preferred.
- Previous dealership or automotive experience is considered an asset.
- Quorum experience is considered an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in CRM vehicle sales software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, sound business judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of rules surrounding confidentiality, information governance and data protection.
