Export Logistics Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate export shipments, including negotiating rates with carriers and monitoring schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with export laws, regulations, customs documentation and permits, as well as company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Supervise, plan and train the logistics staff in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and keeping track of shipment, promoting adherence to company policies and high-performance standards.
- Handle purchasing transactions and conduct sales analyses to support business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and international agents, delivering regular client reports and updates.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth tracking of shipments and resolution of issues.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics, report to the Sea Freight Manager, and pursue initiatives for continuous improvement in logistics processes to boost efficiency and cut costs.
- Collaborate across departments to fulfill customer requirements and tackle logístical hurdles.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in export logistics to maintain a competitive edge.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have finished a two to three-year post-secondary education program.
- At least two years of experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar role.
- Deep understanding of international shipping rules, customs processes, and required documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in logistics software and MS Office.
- Pays attention to detail and has excellent problem-solving skills.

**Remuneration**:

- $31.35 per hour on 37.5 hours per week work schedule.
