Wesgroup is poised for significant growth over the next few years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven and experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team. The Deskside Support Technician will handle desk-side support issues for all office users including troubleshooting and assisting users with connectivity issues and documenting all incidents using the Internal ticketing system. This position requires someone who is personable with great communications skills and pays close attention to the details.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, document, triage, and respond or escalate incoming requests related to IT issues. This roll supports all hardware and equipment ensure optimal workplace performance and provide end-user assistance where required (In-person, by telephone, or via remote access).
- Provide real-time technical support for our meeting rooms and related technology
- Provide first-level deskside support to end-users across a broad range of devices and software
- Provide Onboarding and system setup for new employees
- Document and monitor all IT assets
- Ensure effective communication between the desktop support team and the rest of the IT organization, including status reports of projects and/or systems issues

**Qualifications and Knowledge**:

- Experience with installing software, patches, and system updates on desktops, laptops
- Experience with troubleshooting PC hardware issues and repairing desktop and laptops
- Basic hands-on Smartphone support for iOS devices
- Experience with troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, MacOS, IGEL
- Strong Knowledge of O365 and Office Suites
- Knowledge on ticketing system and mandatory requirements of meeting deadlines and SLA’s
