**Role Overview**

As the Inventory and Supply Chain Manager at Biktrix, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring we have the right stock at the right time without tying up unnecessary capital. You will leverage your expertise in forecasting, negotiation, and logistics to streamline our supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, and support our growth. Your ability to manage relationships with suppliers and shipping companies will be crucial in securing competitive prices and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing inventory, forecasting demand, coordinating distribution, and constantly seeking ways to improve operational efficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain tight control over inventory and valuation, ensuring optimal stock levels based on sales data and forecasts.
- **Cost Reduction**: Actively work to reduce operations spend across inventory, logistics, and related areas through strategic planning, negotiation, and process optimization.
- **Forecasting**: Utilize sales trends and market analysis to accurately forecast inventory needs, adjusting strategies in real-time to meet business demands.
- **Supplier and Shipping Coordination**: Negotiate with suppliers and shipping companies to ensure best prices, quality, and service. Maintain strong partnerships for operational efficiency.
- **SKU Management and ERP Proficiency**: Create scalable product SKUs and naming conventions; proficient use of Odoo for inventory management and operational processes.
- **Distribution Management**: Oversee and optimize the distribution of inventory to showrooms across Canada, ensuring efficient operations.
- **Warehouse Organization**: Lead efforts to reorganize and improve warehouse layout and processes for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- **Team Leadership**: Hire, train, and manage operations staff, including making tough decisions about staffing to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management, preferably in the retail or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Odoo, and proficiency in managing SKUs and product naming conventions.
- E-commerce experience is a bonus
- Leadership experience with the ability to hire, train, and manage a team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
