We are seeking a Solutions Specialist to join our Pres-sales team. The Solutions Specialist will play a crucial role in addressing customer challenges by offering expert support and guidance in data mining across multiple databases, developing dashboards, creating reports, and maintaining Survalent's graphical libraries. Additionally, they will write automation scripts and assist with various tasks to help customers achieve success with Survalent solutions. This position will directly impact the effectiveness and adoption of our products and is essential for driving revenue growth.

**What you will be doing?**
- Build libraries in electrical and other industries. The work will involve a keen eye for graphic design and the ability to use online templates to help build and maintain these libraries
- Build reports to extract data using SQL and similar data mining tools from customers’ Survalent (and other) databases
- Ability to demo Survalent’s solutions to a wide range of prospects and customers
- Develop custom scripts using Survalent’s command sequence language to help solve customer problems
- Look for third party dashboarding solutions and off the shelf products to help map customer data on to them
- Identify customer business needs and pain points and see how the solution can best consume and map out the data that is available
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with customers and prospects on using various Survalent technologies in combination with industry solutions to solve real-world problems
- Work closely with the sales team to understand where there are opportunities to enable customers to be successful by selling professional services to them
- Act as a company liaison on specific technical projects with customers
- Organize and conducting Proof of Concept evaluations and pilot projects
- Drive growth within our current customer base and strengthen their reliance on the Survalent solution
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with personnel in assigned accounts
- Other duties as assigned

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience with automation solutions (programming)
- Experience working with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Positive, service-oriented personality
- Attention to detail, plus analytics and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Solid MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
