**The Role**

To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the sales teams generating valuable insights from data that leads to better decision making within the North America business unit. The role of the Sales Operations Manager (SOM) draws on a wide range of sources from CRM, ERP and power BI software to develop material which informs and guides decisions.

This role will have access to numerous systems that track sales cycle, software entitlements and software usage platform to assist with the management of key accounts. The SOM will work closely with both the Global office and the Regional Sales Teams in the process of developing accurate revenue forecasts. The SOM will work closely with the segment leaders and the Regional VP in evaluating market drivers and trends.

This role reports to the Executive Vice President, North America who is responsible for the management and revenue for the North America region. This position is based in Vancouver, Canada and will work in a hybrid arrangement from the Seequent Vancouver office.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Own the pipeline, sales forecasting, and opportunity close processes for a multi-million-dollar portfolio across North America and Mexico
- Deliver improvements to the mid and long-term visibility of sales performance outlook
- Own and lead all business reporting for the sales region
- Deliver regular and innovative insights with predictions and trending patterns to the region Leadership on sales performance & particularly on the sales outlook, sales productivity, cost of sale, sales headcount, and sales planning
- Provide ‘early warnings’ of patterns and trends of business and overall pipeline health
- Support on account assignment, capacity planning and target setting process, key Client renewal prioritization
- Assist and support with building forecasts and calendar of major account activity
- Contribute to evolution of Sales policies: support the roll out, retirement, changes to sales policies and ensure compliance to sales and related policies
- Lead the adoption and use of modern digital technology and tools to support and automate Sales operations
- Partner with other Sales Operations leaders across the business to re-imagine the sales ops function to ensure it is focused on high-value activities and is a desirable career path for individuals
- Act as change agent for global sales and sales ops initiatives, driving a culture of continuous innovation and globally consistent standards
- Investigate the cases behind anomalies and create better understanding and continuous improvement
- Analyse data and provide important visualization and dashboards that clearly communicates complex data in a digestible form
- Track and manage cost of sales within sales region
- Work closely with other Sales Operations teams members to share knowledge, methodologies and facilitate standardization across the field organisation
- Partner with Sales Leaders to oversee sales execution, adherence to policies, identify problems, take corrective action, communicate performance results

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- 5+ years of sales operations or sales strategy experience
- Analytical Mindset: the ability to logically analyse data and present relevant business insights and recommendations in a condensed and impactful way
- Sophisticated understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs
- Positive ‘can do’ bias for action. An optimistic and motivational mindset to support the sales community in achieving their goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with sales and financial technologies (Salesforce Lightening, SAP, Excel, MS BI, MS PPT)
