**Job Title**

Reconciliation Officer

**What is the opportunity?**

Perform daily reconciliations activities of the Toronto Nostro accounts. Receives, investigates, and responds to all customer inquiries and complaints regarding transactions. With extensive knowledge of the job and policies/practices, performs a wide range of advanced administrative/operational assignments.

**What will you do?**
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on the reconciliations team
- Responds to client inquiries regarding wire transfers, bookings etc across capital market products and services.
- Prioritizes own workload and initiatives and assist team members as required
- Ensures IT incidents are reported in a timely manner and escalated as appropriately.

**What you need to succeed?**

**Must Have**
- Strong organizational & decision-making skills
- Diplomacy and tact to deal with all levels of internal and external clients
- Strong ability to exercise a high degree of judgement and negotiation
- Knowledge of banking/reconciliation/accounting procedures

**Nice to Have**
- University degree or College Diploma or any equivalent combination of qualifications and/or work experience
- Previous experience with an accounting or investigation role.
