**The Opportunity**:
**What You Will Do**:

- Prepare bi-weekly reconciliations for group benefit premiums and identify variances.
- Monitor arrears, retroactive and premium overpayments and coordinate appropriate action with required teams / individuals.
- Process payment of monthly group benefits billings and complete reconciliation of group benefits related general ledger accounts.
- Act as first point of contact for business unit Human Resources / Payroll representatives for all group benefit and group retirement inquiries. Escalate issue with benefit carrier as needed.
- Maintain various benefit related documents such as plan summaries, benefit rate sheets and group policies.
- Administer various processes related to the group retirement program such as enrolments, terminations and contribution eligibility. Assist the Group Retirement Committee with all plan governance activities.
- Plan and deliver various group benefits and group retirement communications, and education / awareness campaigns.
- Assist with the annual group benefits renewal and any other special group benefits / retirement projects as required.

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- CEBS designation and/or courses in Benefit Administration, Financial Accounting, Human Resources and/or other related field considered an asset.
- Proven experience in generating and understanding general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Experience with administering group benefits plans (health, dental, life insurance, LTD, AD&D, optional insurance) and group retirement plans.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office Suite Programs with a high-level of expertise in MS Excel.
- Ability to use good judgement and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
