**Position Details**

**Scheduled Shifts**: Between 7:30am-5:00pm
**Location**: Langford and Esquimalt, BC
**Wage**: $24-$27

**Hours**: 28-35 hours per week

**Position Summary**

The Registration Clerk & Office Coordinator (RCOC) provides a broad range of financial support and services to the Finance Department, Child Care Registration, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The RCOC also provides general administrative support to the Agency in compliance with established internal controls and protocols, while maintaining databases, systems, processes, financial records, and reports with the highest regard for confidentiality, timeliness and accuracy. The RCOC maintains an assigned portfolio of childcare registrations and serves as back up Registration Clerk as required. The RCOC will communicate with external vendors, external clients and employees in accordance with BGC South Vancouver Island’s Mission and Core Values and adhering to GAAP and organization policies and practices.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Experience using Registration software/systems
- Exceptional customer service skills and a natural relationship-builder
- Experience processing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Experience with SAGE 50 or similar accounting system
- Strong skills using Excel and other common Microsoft Office suite programs
- Comfort working in an open office environment
- Familiarity with GAAP
- Completion of second level of a recognized accounting program is an asset
- Familiarity with non-profit environment an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accurate data entry skills
- Able to juggle multiple and changing priorities with ease
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
