**Position**: Reservations Coordinator

Seasonal, part to full time. **Friday/Saturdays required.** Flexible weekday scheduling.

Pet friendly office environment. Must be comfortable with dogs.

**Role Requirements**:

- Available for 2-5 days a week, depending on preference and needs of the business.
- Available for regularly scheduled shifts from 8:45am-5:15pm, at least one weekend day. Summer hours may be extended 8:15am-6:45pm.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiar with tourism industry and campground/RV/Resort environments and equipment.
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- The ability to bend.

**Description**: We are looking for a reliable customer-oriented Reservations Coordinator. Your main responsibilities will be to assist with reservations, administrative tasks & retail while ensuring your guests receive excellent customer service. You would also attend to our facilities and assist in the day-to-day operations of the resort.

**Accountabilities**:

- Report to the Reservations Supervisor, ensuring accurate reservation practices and policies are upheld
- Demonstrate effective organization and communication with guests and Salish team

**Daily duties include but are not limited to**:

- Coordinating reservations using reservations software, ensuring the smooth check-in and departures of guests.
- Taking payments and selling merchandise.
- Performing daily cash reconciliations.
- Processing of accounts payable invoices.
- Undertake general administrative duties: filing, office supplies ordering.
- Stocking and ordering merchandise for the gift shop.
- Assisting with quarterly inventory counts.
- Assisting the Park Manager with social media & promotions.

**Job Requirements**

**Experience**:

- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent with at least two years’ experience working in hospitality, administrative and/or retail environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to organize workload based on deadlines, priority and/or urgency.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and have strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is essential, experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software and reservation software is highly desirable.
- Cash handling skills.
- Emergency First Aid & CPR, is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
