**Reports to**:Director, Brand Marketing

The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Manager, Acute, and shares responsibility as the Marketing Voice of the Acute Channel. This role is responsible for implementing strategies to grow awareness and engagement of the Medline Canada brand in their respective channels and drive market growth by connecting through Internal and External Customer Insights.

As part of the Marketing team this individual will work in close alignment with Sales and other key business stakeholder to manage, implement and activate brand campaigns, communications and activities that lead to positive sales impacts while building the credibility and differentiated value of the Medline brand in Canada. The position will activate the Medline brand in the Canadian Healthcare landscape in the Acute Care market. Additionally, it will also support the Sales and Clinical efforts related to Channel growth and market impact, and support internal stakeholders with Marketing expertise and partnership.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute Annual Marketing Plans that are developed through Customer Insights. Including product launch plans by working closely and collaboratively with stakeholders including; Sales, Product Managers, and other internal stakeholders as required.
- Work in concert with upcoming RFP’s and Business Opportunities within a reactive and proactive approach and has a deeper understanding of the Channel Customer needs
- Contribute to the GtM and Value Proposition Strategies related to their Channels in collaboration with Key Stakeholders including Sales, Product, Clinical as priority audiences
- Understand Market Dynamics and acts on Business Goals
- Act as the Marketing Channel Champion
- Develop and coordinates sales channel discussions & vehicles to seek regular input from stakeholders to ensure required programs, messaging, and marketing tools are aligned to business objectives and priorities
- Maintain Brand Guidelines and implements them across all projects, resulting in brand consistency across the business
- Manage the delivery, timing and team alignment of Medline brand and product marketing requirements in Medline’s annual calendar of events including tradeshows, customer presentation, publications and internal conferences, and Customer Channel activities
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across multiple media working with member of the marketing team to align and ensure synergies within digital platforms, printed materials, events and any other media effort
- Support other members of the Marketing Team for other marketing tactics as needed
- Act on procurement processes, selects and establishes strong, effective relationships with translators, partners, contractors, consultants and agency partners
- Develop and manages and project budgets and plans
- Analyze activities and campaigns with ROI metrics and focuses on market channel activation.

**Qualifications**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
- MBA is advantageous
- 3 to 5 years in a Marketing management role an asset
- Experience with Healthcare Brand Marketing is critical
- Experience in the Quebec Healthcare market is an asset
- Experience in aligning strategic initiatives to business objectives and analyzing and reporting ROI
- Experience in managing, creating, leading integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience in managing creative and digital agencies
- Experience in delivering and leveraging data-driven business analytics and developing business insights
