Plasti-Fab® EPS Product Solutions is a leader in the insulation manufacturing industry, producing a variety of building materials such as the Advantage ICF System, Insulspan SIP, GeoSpec® Light weight fill, EIFS, Plasti-Span® and DuroSpan® rigid insulation. Our materials are used in the commercial and residential construction and renovation sectors, for everything from roof insulation to below-grade foundation insulation. We are currently seeking a full time **Administrative Assistant** to join our team. As this position is located in **Crossfield, Alberta which is located 50 km north of Calgary** you will need your own transportation in order to commute daily to the plant.

**Position Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Reception duties and general office support. (e.g. filing, collation, organization, etc.)
- Creating and administering external and internal purchase orders
- Individual and batch processing of Accounts Payable including but not limited to: invoice matching, g/l coding, data entry into ‘Synapse’ system and troubleshooting.
- Daily data entry for all production-related documents into the ‘Synapse’ system in an accurate manner.
- Customer service duties including taking orders from customers, processing within ‘Synapse’, daily invoicing.
- Involvement in regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy between the ‘Synapse’ system and physical count.
- Processing and organization of Shipping and Receiving, (arrangement of transport, acquisition of required paperwork, processing of documents, etc.)
- Regular payroll and benefits processing in accordance with company policies.
- Processing of Accounts Receivable including but not limited to: allocation of payments into ‘Synapse’ system, forwarding of banking information, and handling of payment inquiries.
- Maintaining Site Health & Safety program including STARS/Goal Zero
- Liaison with WCB and injured workers
- Maintaining MSDS system
- Maintain Quality System SOP’s - system & administrative
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Meet all safety requirements and regulations, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure a clean work environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned

**Skills & Knowledge Required**:

- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Positive, go-getter, hands-on attitude with a customer service approach
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience working in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of payables and GL coding required
- Diplomatic and tactful

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years office experience, preferably within manufacturing
- Diploma in Office/ Business Administration preferred
