**Vice-President, Marketing Technology**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the maintenance and updates of PPI Toolkit Direct, including data integration with other Stratosphere sales tools through APIs, ensuring a consistent, modern architecture. Provide required advisor support, in collaboration with the PPI Sales Team, HelpDesk and Digital Sales Enablement team, based on advisors’ feedback on Marketing Technology Tools. Oversee all testing and the mathematical, insurance and calculations requirements for rates and database updates. Support and maintain PPI’s HNW sales with customized leveraging spreadsheets and other strategies, as required. Manage the transition from PPI Toolkit’s Multi-Carrier Calculator to alternate methods of incorporating carrier illustrations for custom products, and ultimately through carrier cloud-based illustration APIs.
- Lead the Identity and Access Management Program, ensuring that the user onboarding and exit process is smooth, secure and in compliance with PPI standards, with access to the right PPI sales and administrative tools and services at the right times. Develop and maintain SSO for carriers, and in collaboration with IT Infrastructure and Security, for employees.
- Manage development of Advisor facing systems (websites, Link Between), as well as the employee Portal, trackers and team sites. Assess web projects for system options, risk, impact, cost/benefit, identification of requirements and development forecasts. For digital connectivity and integration, build APIs for tools, 3rd party vendors, and carrier integrations to support feeds and other activities.
- Collaborate with: IT Infrastructure, Security and Operations to coordinate technology projects and integration, and to upskill internal teams to support emerging technologies; and with Carriers re access to illustrations and updates. Ensure solutions and processes comply with PPI Information Security standards (development and change management).

**Education, Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, or equivalent combination of other university degree and IT experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior IT position
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage a team, and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and client-centred focus
- Skilled in project management and able to manage multiple priorities while still delivering to deadlines, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Insurance product category knowledge and sales concept familiarity
- Superb analytical capability along with creative problem solving and effective decision-making skills, as well as understanding of progressive technology trends to build an optimal strategy
