**Responsibilities**

The Human Resources Generalist is an integral and valued team member who contributes to all facets of the organization. Described below are some of the duties and responsibilities expected in this role.
- Act as an advisor to management and employees ensuring the fair, equitable and consistent implementation of Rolark policies and procedures and legislation;
- Manage full-cycle recruitment (including but not limited to Job postings, interviews, new hire onboarding, orientation and exit interviews and processes);
- Ensure employee safety and wellness by working in tandem with management to oversee Health and Safety, Return-to-Work and AODA legislation, policies, procedures and initiatives;
- Manage all WSIB claims;
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, AODA, WSIB, Employment Equity, Employment Standards Act and other relevant laws and regulatory practices;
- Act as a co-chair on the JHSC;
- Facilitate the training and development of management and employees by coordinating and delivering training opportunities;
- Assist with the development, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits systems;
- Assist with the development, interpretation and regular review of company policies and procedures;
- Manage and meticulously maintain employee records and other human resources data systems in compliance with the law and Rolark policies and procedures;
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- University Degree in Human Resources Management
- Must have 5+ years’ experience working in an HR Generalist role
- Must have excellent knowledge of current employment legislation
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent time management and be able to manage competing deadlines in a busy role
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- CHRP Designation an asset
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
