We are seeking to add an enthusiastic and dedicated **Chamber Promoter Intern **to our team who enjoys meeting and working with businesses and entrepreneurs in Greater Sudbury. As part of our team, you will engage with our members to share information about our Chamber Perks App, job portal, cost saving programs, and events. We offer a balanced work-life, filled with an exciting, energetic, and inclusive work environment. This is a one-year internship.
- is either a new entrant into the workforce, is transitioning into a new career, is unemployed or under-employed and is entering a new field;
- has not previously participated in NOHFC’s People & Talent Program;
- is at least 18 years of age;
- resides in the Greater Sudbury area; and
- is eligible to work in Canada.

**We offer**:

- identify and analyze the small and midsize enterprise sector within the chamber’s membership
- develop and execute an engagement plan to share information, support, and assist them in recognizing the value and utilizing the assets of the chamber Perks App and Job Portal;
- achieve Chamber Perks App information sharing and onboarding goals;
- achieve Chamber Job Portal information sharing and onboarding goals;
- monitor social media platforms and local media to identify employment opportunities to include on the Chamber’s Job Portal;
- host Zoon meetings with interested members to share information about the Chamber Perks App, Job Portal, and other cost-saving programs;
- undertake administrative duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- a valid driver’s license, use of reliable personal vehicle, and vehicle insurance coverage for business use (required);
- bachelor degree or college diploma in Public Relations, Business, Sales, Commerce, or similar discipline;
- must be eligible to work in Canada;
- must reside in the Greater Sudbury area; and
- bilingual (English/French an asset).
