We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek Team as a part-time Assistant Restaurant Supervisor, in Jerry’s Taphouse. This individual should hold themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service. In this position you will be required to work many areas within our Hospitality department, including the Restaurant as your primary, on-course services, beverage carts (simulators, and banquets in the off season)

- Must be able to work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must provide recent police check.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, coach and develop the hospitality staff to allow them to provide the highest level of service.
- Overseeing stock levels & ordering supplies
- Assist in Creating weekly staff schedules.
- Administration and paperwork (Daily/Monthly Inventory Sheets) including customer enquiries and dealing with customer complaints.
- Serving Guests, cleaning, opening, and closing the restaurant as required to provide excellent guest experiences.
- Responsible for setting up food & beverage services for our golf functions day of
- Work with a degree of independence and responsible for making decisions requiring sound judgment and familiarity with Deer Creek Service Standards
- Must be accurate and comfortable with handling large amounts of cash and inventory.
- Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations, streamline work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide excellent service.
- Provide timely feedback to the management team & assist in any future goals.
- Responsible for assignments and follow directions in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure atmosphere is to standard including TV’s, Music, Lighting and Temperatures are to guest satisfaction.
- Work with Marketing on promotions and assist in the execution of special events.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years experience in a supervisory or leadership role in Hospitality or Food and Beverage
- Smart Serve Certified
- Food Handler’s Certification (can acquire when hired)
- Able to work independently, work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer (Word, Excel, Power Point and POS)
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Must be able to bend, climb stairs and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of golf course protocol and etiquette
- Knowledge about AGCO laws regarding safe serving of beverages and food
- First Aid/ CPR is an asset (can acquire when hired)

**Job Type**: Part time seasonal
- up to 40hrs depending on volume of business (Option to continue after the Golf season ends)
